Your body my friend, needs to be protected at any cost. Your skin, organs, daily life functions, all these things are at high risk. Why? Because of these self-damaging habits that you have.

But not anymore. Guys! I can’t see this happening to you. Trust me, I can’t. That’s why I started doing the research.

I searched for the dangerous habits that guys around the world have. And after doing a complete set of work, I have for you, this list of 12 daily habits that damage your body without you even noticing.

It isn’t like this damage does not become apparent. It does becomes very apparent but when it

This habit of yours is really damaging your entire body. Do you even realize the damages that are associated with drinking less water and not staying hydrated?

  • Fatigue.
  • Migraine.
  • Headache.
  • Weight gain.

These are just the obvious things that happen when you drink less amount of water. The damage that occurs to your internal organs (which soon becomes apparent too) is also in the equation.

What is your take now on drinking water only when you feel thirsty? Let me tell you something, you need around 6 liters of water every single day if you want your body to function properly plus if you really want your skin to glow, and your hair to look healthy.

2: Sitting at your desk.

Chances are that you do this on the daily basis (a habit) because you work at this office. Be it a job or your own business, the main portion of your work comprises of you sitting on the desk, looking at your computer screen.

Let me tell you something. This habit of yours is not only damaging your eyes (because of the constant screen usage) but it also affects your posture, back, spine, and whatnot.

Also, a sedentary lifestyle like yours is also associated with the risk of feelings of loneliness, depression, etc.

Obesity is also on the list because of course you are sitting and not doing any activity so you are definitely going to end up putting on a lot of extra weight.

  • Don’t Consume Caffeine Late in the day because the caffeine helps you wake up which means that it won’t let you sleep properly at Night. Hence, avoid caffeine in the evening or at night time.
  • Increase Bright Light Exposure during the Day and Reduce the Blue Light exposure in the evening / Night. Put your phone aside and don’t use it when the Lights of your room are switched off. Using a phone in the dark is gonna hurt your eyesight plus it is eating your Sleep time as well. 
  • You must put all of your Digital devices away at least 30 minutes before going to bed… I recommend that you put your Phone on a Table far away from your bed because I know that sometimes you want to grab your Cellphone again and again… But if you place it far away, you will have to get up and reach the table to grab your cellphone… Getting up is a resistance and a Barrier that is surely gonna Help.
  • Maintain Room Temperature at 60 – 67 Degree Fahrenheit because that’s considered to be the ideal temperature. Lowering your body’s temperate before going to bed is proven to give you a Baby sleep.
  • Make a Routine. Sleep at 10, Wake-up at 5 (etc)
  • Check your Mattress. Make sure that your Pillows, Bed, and Mattress are Comfortable.

4: Messy earbuds.

Alright. You have this habit of using your earbuds every single day. Cool. This isn’t a bad habit at all.

I mean, we all do that. Listening to music, calls, podcasts, etc, all of this makes earbuds, a necessary daily gadget for all of us. But the problem starts when we avoid sanitizing those earbuds.

Imagine a dirty earpiece entering your ear every single day. Guys! You haven’t cleaned those things since like ever. The dust, dirt, bacteria that are stored on its surface go all the way inside your ear causing infection and other problems too.

Plus, do you know that if you are not regularly cleaning out the excess wax from your ears, the buds may also be pushing that excessive wax deep inside. Yes, I am talking about all that ear wax surrounding your eardrums. Do you want that to happen? I am sure you don’t.

So yeah, make sure that you sanitize your earbuds plus keep cleaning the earwax as well. Yes, it is there to protect your ears but still, you need to clean the excessive one while you are in the shower.

5: Avoiding the skincare routine.

This is a daily habit of yours now. What? Avoiding the importance of your skin.

You are washing your face with this regular soap, thinking that “men stay raw”. Oh, come on now. Your skin needs proper care because you deserve it.

You deserve to look 10/10 and the only thing that is keeping you away from that is your missing skincare routine yours. No need to worry gentlemen because your brother is here to rescue!

Morning skincare routine

We are Gonna Keep it Simple Though. You wanna Grab 5 Products from the Store. The first one has to be the Cleanser. The function of a Cleanser is to Go into your Pores and Clean all the Dirt and Excess Oil. It’s essential to have Fresh Looking Skin.

Once you are Done Cleansing (Make sure that you Do it gently in circular Motion), You wanna Use a Towel or a Soft Piece of Cloth to Clean your Face. Now is the Time to Apply Moisturiser.

Again, you wanna Grab a Moisturiser according to Your Skin Type. Our Goal with Moisturising is to Give back the Water and Useful Stuff. The final goal is to Get Glowing Skin.

Now is the Right Time to Apply a Good Quality UVA and UVB protecting Sun Block. Sun throws off 2 kinds of rays that are harmful to your skin. One is UVA and the Other one is UVB. These rays are responsible for damages like Ageing and Tanning.

So you wanna make sure that the Sun Block you are Getting is best suitable for your Environment. And It should be able to protect you from both the UVA and UVB rays.

Nighttime skincare routine

All You Need are 4 Products. First thing First, It’s the Cleansing Time. You came Home after working Maybe 6-7 Hours. Chances are that your Skin Looks tired and there Could be Dirt inside your Pores. We must remove that.

And Cleansing is what we need for that. The Next Step is to Moisturise your Face with a High-Quality Moisturiser. Now Make sure that your PM moisturizer is Different from your AM moisturizer.

Guys, In the Morning your Skin has to Deal with Different Sorts of Problems. And for that purpose, you need somewhat Strong or More of a Different Kind of Functions. However, Nighttime is best for healing and you need such kinds of Properties inside your moisturizer.

After You are Done Moisturising, You wanna Apply the Eye Cream just like you did in the Morning and The Final Step is to Apply the Vaseline. You don’t want to Apply Lip balm at this time because you are Not Going out so you don’t need protection against the Sun. Thats it.

  • Maybe you are talking to somebody and just avoiding the urine pressure because you do this all the time.

Whatever your situation is, I know that it can be fixed. Everything can wait. Or you can just pee once you feel like the pressure is going to build up or when you know that you are going to go into the examination hall or something like that.

You are getting me. Right?

Holding it in isn’t the best possible option because doing that will weaken your bladder which will become a huge problem for you in the years to come. Plus you are actually holding in the bacteria in your body which is obviously not a healthy thing to do.

7: Use of Plastic in daily life.

You thought drinking water will make you healthy. It does yes. I talked about that above in the early point as well.

But wait a minute Champ. You are drinking water off of the plastic bottle. No? Do you know that plastic seeps out of the bottle (be it in a very small amount) and does the things that you would never want happening to you?

There is this compound called BPA and another one called BHPF in the plastic. These compounds are responsible for messing up your hormonal functions. The result includes weight gain.

BPA is also linked with infertility and many other problems. Stop drinking water off of the plastic bottles and please do not use plastic containers to store your food.

You microwaving your food while it is being placed in a plastic container is a huge MESS! When heated up, the chances of BPA to transfer to your food increases which means the chances of you become infertile increases too.

8: Multitasking.

Hah, You thought multitasking makes you look like a ninja. Don’t you?

In the fictional world, being a multitasker might look superhero-ish. But in real life, it is one of the things that is going to damage your ability to stay focused.

Yes! Multitasking affects the hormonal functions of your body promoting the release of stress hormone and fight n flight hormone as well, which is going to leaves your brain burnout with the passage of time.

The habit of multitasking is also linked to a decrease in focus and a person’s ability to pay attention.

9: Nail biting

You have this habit of nail biting. Don’t you?

“But Nyazi, I do that when I am tensed and it happens automatically”.

That’s why it is called a “Habit” my friend.

Let me tell you something, this habit of yours is a reason behind a lot of problems.

  • Nail-biting messes up with your teeth ruining their shape.
  • By biting your nails you are also prone to more infections around your nail bed.
  • Your hands are a huge source of germs, so does your nails. By biting your nails you are transferring a lot of germs inside your body which is obviously a bad thing for your body and its regular functions.

10: Not sleeping enough.

We’ve already talked about the use of mobile phones at night which disturbs your sleep cycle causing dark circles around your eyes. But had I told you that not sleeping enough also causes high blood pressure, heart diseases, and depression as well.

Yeah, my friend. You do make a lot of late-night plans without thinking about your sleeping time. You might not be worried about the dark circles but what are you going to do about the other problems that come with lack of sleep?

Plus why are you not worried about the dark circles though? Don’t you love yourself and don’t you want to look 10/10? Gentlemen! Wake up. You haven’t been sleeping properly and due to that, you are in a constant state of sleeping with your eyes open.

You deserve to look good and you need to do whatever you can do to look great. Sleeping 7 hours is the easiest thing that you can do to look great and avoid all the negative things that come with you, not sleeping properly.

11: Listening to the loud music.

Or maybe the podcast. Chances are that you are fond of listening to stuff on a high volume. I get it. You have developed this habit over time. But it is a part of you now.

Let me tell you something about this habit of yours and I am afraid to say but it ain’t a good thing. Listening to loud music or preferring higher volumes is going to make you lose your hearing abilities with the passage of time.

Sounds terrifying. No? So yeah, skip the loud volume and always take the “Loud music” warning seriously. Protect your ears and your hearing as this is a blessing which you are going to miss a lot if you won’t quit this stupid habit of yours.

12: Recalling everyday activities before going to bed.

So you have this habit. Hah? Thinking about your entire day and the positive and negative things can take up a lot of time with you ending up keeping on thinking about every single thing again and again for a long time.

Plus what if there is a negative thing that happened during the day, which ends up staying in your head while recalling the daily activities. It will definitely mess up your mood and disturb your sleep as well. Plus you are going to wake up super tired too.

So the best possible option is to relax and go to bed without recalling anything!
