John is a very Nice Guy. But He is feeling Kinda Shy Today. I was unaware of the reason Until I went and talked to Him about what’s going on inside his head.
It came out to be the “People Stress”. Actually, he just Started doing an Internship in this new Organisation which has a lot of people. There are a lot of Boys and Girls over there and John is Just Not feeling it.
Yes, He is super excited to go there and do the work. But, He doesn’t want to embarrass himself in front of that many people. His friend told me that He wants to Look Confident over there. Is there anything that We can suggest John?
Yes their is. What about Watching Something Funny?
It is a Common Known Information that Watching Funny videos if Very Good for your Health and Mental State. Why do you feel Not so Confident? It’s mostly because you are overthinking things and Stressing out when you really don’t need to.

2: Stand Straight and Cross Your Arms
Is this Really a Tip? Yes, It is. Gentlemen! You want to Look / Appear Confident when you are really Not. Right? What’s the better way than Utilising your Body Language to Appear Confident? None.
People Look at our Body language and expressions. These are the Factors that Help their Brains decide whether someone is Happy or Sad (Or faking the Happiness).
When a person is Standing in a very recessive Manner, Slouched, and Bent down, People immediately think of him as Not a Confident Person. But We want the opposite of that.
So You must Always Stand Straight and with your Arms crossed as thats One of the best ways of telling people that you are Fine and most Importantly Super Confident, Inside out.

1: Ali. He is a very Decent Guy (Not Really a Confident Guy). You will always see him wearing Nice clothes. And by Looking at his Skin and Hair, one can say that He takes care of Himself. And thats a good thing.
But there is this one thing about Ali that bothers me all the time. And I am not saying this by observing him once. HE DOES THIS THING ALL THE TIME!
Whenever He is under Stress or maybe he is about to deliver some speech (his class presentation) or something Like that, He Starts Freaking Out. You will see him getting Angry all of a Sudden or Maybe He will Start talking nonsense. His mouth will go dry and Yes He Looks Super non-confident
2: Danish (Not a Confident Kind of Guy). He is a Decent guy too. And guess what? Danish takes care of Himself just Like Ali. You will never see Danish wearing clothing items that are not going well with each other. His Colour matching game is so Good.
Now let’s Get into the Fun Part. Confidence. So Yeah, I observed Danish as well and What I found was that Danish in the start used to Get Restless.
And You would clearly see him rushing and freaking out. But Now He is much relaxed and Has much control over himself. His Movements are Much more Poised and relaxed and His Moves and Slow and Dominant
It is clear from the above given 2 stories that More or Less Both these Guys suffer from the Lack of Confidence. Chances are that Danish is slightly more confident than Ali. However More or Less You can list them under the same list.
However, from the eyes of the Observer, you will clearly see a noticeable difference between these Two. You can not call Danish, Non-confident Because He Knows How to Look Confident Under the situations. How?
He Knows that the Key to Looking Confident and Supremely Attractive is Hidden in the Golden Keys which are:
- Look Calmed Down. Do Not Rush things
- Talk, Move Slowly (Focus on your Gestures too) (Not too Slow). Let the Message of Dominance go from your Side
4: Wear Your “SUPERHERO” Outfit

Everyone has his Super Hero Outfit and No, I am not talking about Wearing your Underwear outside. I am talking about the regular Outfits, that Single outfit which you love the Most. Could be anything.
Maybe you Feel Like a Boss wearing your Polo Shirt tucked in, paired with formal Slacks and your Favourite Loafers. You talked about that Super Sexy Ring as well. Yes, throw that on as well. Boom! You are a Superhero now. Do Superheroes Look Shy? I don’t think so.
So the next time when you are not feeling like being Confident, pick the most favorite outfit of yours and throw it on. I am sure that will give you enough Power and Confidence to Rule the place that you are about to go!
5: Live the Moment (Be Right There)
As I discussed Earlier in this article that the Topmost reason Why Somebody isn’t feeling Confident is because “He is Stressing things out”.
Chances are that you are Doing the Same. Or Maybe you are Living too much inside your Brain and you need to Come out. I am sure that the situations in real are not much serious and you’ve made them a Giant just inside your Brain.
Whats the Solution to this Problem?
To be Very Honest, It requires Practice. Some People Get Rid of this Habit (Overthinking) Quicker than others. While others take some time. But at the End of the day, Yes, It is 150% Possible to Get Rid of this Bad Habit.
I recommend you all to Immediately Start Doing something that is there in front of you. It could be anything. Maybe there is this Kid standing in front of you. Start playing with Him.
Chances are there is some Guy sitting next to you. Start talking to Him. Start a Conversation out of nowhere. Remember! Our goal is to Get busy as that will make those Negative thoughts kill their own-selves. Start from Today. I am sure you can do this.
6: Notice Yourself (Note Down your Behavioural Changes)
Let’s Observe 2 Different People for this One. Shall we?
Suspect Number 1 (Mutahir)
Mutahir Studies in the University. He is Currently Studying in the bachelor’s and along with the Studies he is interested in Playing Sports as well. His Goal is to Play for his Country one Day, and YES! He is doing the practice.
I’ve been observing Mutahir for a couple of days. And in this period of time, I’ve come across a lot of moments that affected Mutahir.
I am talking about the Direct effect on Mutahir’s Confidence. There were times when Mutahir was Feeling Shy but He Wanted to Appear Confident (Apparently).
I Noticed that Mutahir has this Habit of Biting His Nails and His Tone of Voice seems to Get a Hit too. And you can clearly notice these 2 things when Mutahir is Feeling Insecure or Shy.
Suspect Number 2 (Noah)
Noah Works at “A” Corporation. He has Just Joined the organization and His goals are to Succeed as Fan as One can Imagine. To be very Honest I am really Impressed by Noah’s Dedication towards work. And His work ethics are tremendously awesome. If the deadline is 11, He delivers the Work at 10:30.
But Last Monday and this Friday I noticed something. A subtle change in his behavior. I knew that He was Feeling insecure and Shy. He really wanted to APPEAR CONFIDENT but trust me He was struggling to succeed.
His hands. They were Cold and Moved Super Fast when He was in that State. Maybe he was Trying to Look Confident and the Stressful thoughts brought him to this State. I don’t know. And His Walk. I Promise that His walk was changed. His Steps became Much bigger and Unbalanced.
Findings / Conclusion
Clearly, the 2 dudes that I observed were really Capable. They were great at what they were doing. However, You just can’t become Perfect. There are times in everybody’s Life when our Senses Get a Hit and we find it hard to keep ourselves in place.
And as a result of that Hit, we often give off signals to people that convey the Message of “Shyness” and “Insecurity”.
I recommend you All to Note Down all these Behaviours. No, you don’t have to observe John, Ali, or Michael. All you need to do is to OBSERVE YOURSELF.
I want you to Note down all the things that You do when you are freaking out. Write down all of your behavioral changes and make a list of those. Now I want you to try and control all of these, One By One.
Don’t go hard on yourself. It’s Ok to fail in the Start. Trust me, the Best of the best ones Fail. All you need to do is to keep trying. So Yeah, Try and control these Behavioural changes, One by one. And Sooner or Later your Will be able to Appear Confident When you are really Not Feeling it From the Inside!
7: Control Yourself By Talking to Someone
So Your Goal is to Appear Confident When you are really Not Feeling it. Right? Well, I already told you about Controlling yourself and your thoughts.
But is there an Easy Alternative to this? Plus, controlling yourself for sure takes time and practice. So is there a trick or some technique that can help you Appear Confident till then?
Yes their is. Talk to Someone about it
Probably one of the Easiest ways to Distract your brain and Boost your Self-Confidence (ultimately looking Confident) is to Pick your Phone and Call somebody. But it has to be the person who cheers you up and supports you. Your best buddy, Maybe Ali, Aslam, Joe, anyone!
Talk to him about it and I am sure saying out your inner state is definitely going to heal you to some extent. When you feel something we make it big inside our head.
However, when we share it with somebody (Who you can trust 100000%), that inner Bubble of Stress immediately Loosens up. I don’t know How it happens. But it does.
- That person is going to cheer you Up
- You will talk to Him and that will distract you from thinking that How you are going to Look confident when that thinking process itself is Toxic
So Basically its a Win-Win Situation!
This is probably one of the most effective tips when somebody wants to appear Confident when he is not really feeling it from the inside.
And Most importantly, there is No Rocket Science attached to it. All you need to do is to Think about Someone who you believe is the Confident Person Around. Maybe He is Adam or Shawn, etc.
I want you to observe him, His moves, How he walks and Why do people consider Him Confident. I am sure there are these kinds of people everywhere. People who others think of, “As the Most Confident ones” around. Try to look for the traits that Make them Look Confident.
Ok, Alright. I know that it might sound a Bit as If I am recommending you to Stalk them. Ok, Don’t do this if You feel Uncomfortable Doing it.
Think of the Most Confident Movie Characters. James Bond, for instance. Note Down his Moves, What he does that Makes Him appear so confident. What makes him a “Perfect Man”, as they say. And When you will note all of these Points Down you will end up with a list of things that help you appear more Confident.
I am 100% Sure that this List of yours is 4x more effective than any tip that anybody will ever give you under the heading of “How to appear Confident when you are really Not feeling it from the inside”. Even if it’s Myself.
9: Tone of Voice
According to Grammarly.com:
“The definition of “tone of voice,” according to Merriam-Webster, is actually “the way a person is speaking to someone.” In essence, it’s how you sound when you say words out loud”
The way we talk to People says a Lot about our behavior, our feelings, and Most importantly Our level of Confidence. Have you noticed a sudden change in your tone of voice when you are talking to somebody who you believe is either more Handsome, more intelligent, or better in any domain than you?
Thats exactly what I am talking about. These tones decide who is going to be the dominant one and who will be labeled as “The Recessive”.
Who do you want to be? Do you want to Let people Notice a Change in your Tone and then Make them believe that you are scared or maybe feeling Less Confident?
There is an opportunity here for you guys. For those of you who want to Appear More confident when you are really not feeling it from inside, I recommend trying to keep your Tone of Voice the same as you have normally.
Breathe in and Breathe Out as that will really help you in relaxing yourself and Calm you down. Which will directly affect your Tone, normalizing it.
10: Wear Amazing Clothing
Guys! I’ve talked about wearing Superhero Outfit earlier in the Article. But Have I discussed the FACT that the day you are Looking Amazing (in terms of Dressing) is the day people talk only about the way you are Looking?
It’s a Natural Phenomenon. All of the other aspects are immediately ignored when you walk into the Door Looking Spicier than the Hottest Chile Pepper. Aristotle can’t deny it, Neither can anyone else.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Colour Matching. An Outfit with Everything Put together perfectly can Look worse Just because of the Colour. Chances are that you are wearing the Most Gorgeous Looking Shoes that have been ever made for Mankind. Note that the Colour of these shoes is “Green”. I am Sorry But you can’t Match then with your Red Vine Coloured Suit. Nah! It ain’t Happening.
Or Be it any other situation. Colour Matching has its own role and you can not deny it at any cost. If you have the Skill of Playing with the Colours, Matching, and Contrasting Correctly then you, my friend, are the boss. Otherwise, Nay
- Fit. And Yes, You must take care of the Fit of your Outfit as well. Maybe you are wearing the Most Perfectly made suit but it is sitting on your Body properly. I am sorry But you’ve wasted your money.
Want to make things good back again? Get your Suit fitted. Tailors are there available for the service of people like you and me. Have you NOTICED a Change in the Way you Walk when you are Feeling not so Confident? Maybe the way you walk isn’t similar to the Walk of a Confident Man.
What? Are there different kinds of Walks? Yes, there are. People with Immense confidence Walk one way and those that Don’t have enough level of Confidence walk another way.
Pick your Side. Come on. Do you want to Walk like a Shy and Insecure guy or do you want to tell you the Kind of Walk that is Going to make you APPEAR Confident no matter where you are?

- Your Shoulders, they need to be broad. I know that they stay recessive all the time but Hit them with a WOW Manhunter because they need to rise! Push them a little bit back and Up, Yeah that’s perfect!
- Your chest needs to out. Now make sure that you are not getting it too much out because that way you are gonna end up looking very weird. You just got to get your chest out a little bit, just enough to kill the sloppy posture of yours and that’s it.
- Please don’t walk with your hands inside your Pocket. My God! Do you know how recessive and unconfident you look with your hands in your pocket while you are walking? I can’t even measure your level of recessiveness.
- Your steps should be medium. Not too big, not too short. Just enough to showcase your sexiness.
- Walk with confidence Gentlemen. Ok, think of yourself as a Confident Dude, One who is Sexy and perfect (I repeat, not proud but perfect). Yeah, you see that smile, that shines in your eyes! Now walk while having that same feeling inside, THAT’S WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!
So the Keywords are, You should not Hunch your Shoulders, Chest should be out, Keep your Feet Enough spread, Not so quick and Not So Slow, Steps Should not be Not so Big and not so Small, and Make sure that your Forehead isn’t having any Frown Lines.
12: Control your Hand Movements
So Guys, do you want to Look Confident Even when you are not feeling it from the Inside? Control your Hand movements. Or let me say, Do not Make your hands stiff.
What Would a Person do if He is under Stress or If he is Feeling shy? He will either:
- Move his Hands Super Fast
- Or He will be busy in his thoughts and due to that His movements will go to almost 0
Do the Opposite. What would you do If you were feeling Confident? Would you move your hands, go from Left to right and back, Convey your message with your hands while talking, etc? If yes then Do that.
But make sure that your hands aren’t trembling. As thats a sign of a lack of Confidence and thats exactly what we are hiding.
Again, you do not want to be Stiff with your Hand movements. Flexibility is the Key and while staying in your Personal Space, you should keep on using your hands to communicate. Becoming Numb and not moving your hands at all is a Sign of Lack of Confidence.
And same is the case with Faster movements. As that shows that you are either panicking or You don’t know what to do Now. And you definitely are not planning to send this message out. Are you?
13: Wear a Pair of Sunglasses
Ok, so this one is only going to apply if you are going out or something. Chances are that you have planned a meeting where you can wear shades. If Yes then Do that.
Look, Sometimes we just can’t overcome our shyness, plus we can’t hide it too. And even if you have overcome it, what about the eyes? So the best way to hide it when everything Fails is to Put on Sunglasses!
Gentlemen! It’s all in the eyes. Your Eyes and the area around it show your real emotions, what you are going through, etc. And If you successfully manage to hide your eyes and the area that I am talking about, the chances of you getting discussed decrease.
Note that: You can only get away successfully wearing sunglasses if you have already controlled your body movements. People are not idiots they will Notice the change in your body movements. So you need to control the first and then think about Putting on the Shades.
An Exercise for You All
And in the end, I want to Give you an Exercise that is going to Help you Master the Art of Appearing Super Confident. And it is to Try to be Un-Reactive.
I know that this is hard and You probably are going to fail a lot of times at the Start. But Trust me, It is going to make you so immensely better at Appearing Confident that your Mind will be Blown away!
Try not to react to things. If you can change things, Good. Take action, thats it. If You can’t change something, You don’t need to cry or show your emotions. Just let it be. Trust me, these are just the Chapters and there are plenty of Blessings stored for you in the coming days.
