We ain’t going into the super *motivational* kinda stuff, but for sure we are definitely going to touch some of the powerful steps that every guy needs to take in order to make his life happier.

So basically our goal with today’s article is to achieve the following objectives:

  • Become More confident as a Man.
  • Live a Better, more fulfilled life.
  • Improve the quality of your living.
  • Make your Life Happier.

All the good stuff you know. But guess what? It isn’t going to come that easy. You need to make a lot of life-changing decisions if you really want to turn your life around. Your goal is to have a better and happier life. Isn’t it? Well, then you need to quit a lot of things and adopt a bunch of positive traits that are going to help you get closer to your objectives.

So without any further ado, let’s get straight into it. Shall we?

But wait a minute… I want you to add another article to your reading list. Look, don’t get me wrong but your friends and family members have been telling me that you are really starting to look worse with every day passed.

I can’t see that happening to a guy like you who has been taking a lot of care of himself lately. There are basically a bunch of things that you need to take care of (eradicate from your life) and then you should be good to go. 1: Admit that you don’t need to be perfect.

You are trying to become the best-looking dude in this entire university. Well, guess what? I respect your goal but at the end of the day, it is very hard to achieve.

And at the end of the day, you have this motive to become “Perfect” and perfection is nothing but a subjective thing only. Let me explain.

You can be the best-looking dude (according to person A) and at the same time, this other person (Person B) could be thinking that you are just average-looking.

But if you are somebody who wants to become perfect in every definition possible then guess what? You’ve opened your arms in front of the depression, inviting it to hug you tightly.

The real goal should be to “Make progress with every day passed”. You for sure need to make continuous progress if you really want to see yourself growing and this thing, “growing continuously” should be your happiness trigger!

And not “Perfectionism”. Why? Because as we’ve already talked about it, perfectionism is a subjective thing and in reality, one can’t really become perfect. Yes! He can become a very good-looking dude. Extremely good-looking dude? Yes for sure you can do that too, given that you are taking care of yourself and you are already in your year 3 or 4 of following regular self-care regimens.

Let’s conclude this now. Shall we?

Guys! Your goal should be to go for “daily progress” instead of “perfectionism” because you don’t want your mental state to suffer. Plus you also do not want to get tired and get back to your unhealthy routine yours. Right? So yeah, just let it be, make slow progress and find happiness in continuous growth.

2: Just say, “I won’t do this”.

The number # 1 to live a happy life is to learn to say “No”.

Let’s say you are working for this company “A” and things are going cool so far. But there is this thing that has been bothering you lately. Your immediate boss is making you do a bunch of things that do not fall under your Job description. He somehow makes you do these things and once you agree, he gives you even more work to do.

It is almost like, the more you stay polite and say “Yes”, the more he adds on to your work…

Things are becoming really toxic for you. You are thinking about it the entire day, trying to find a solution. You get tired, exhausted, and mentally freaked up… But what can you do about this whole situation?

Hey! Look at me. Guess what? You are the best and this problem is nothing bro. All you need to do is go to him tomorrow and say, “I won’t do this”.

Just let him know that you can’t do all of this extra work that does not fall under your Job description! Let him know that you can speak for yourself.

Guys! A lot of times people manipulate us because we can’t speak up for ourselves. They judge people, and when they find somebody vulnerable, they start making use of him/her. Say “No” to their face. That’s the right way to make them realize that they’ve chosen the wrong person this time!

3: Start something of your own.

Gentlemen! I know that you’ve been working a lot lately. You’ve been putting a lot of work into this job and at the end of the day, you are super tired, restless, and mentally exhausted.

Hear me out. I am going to give you a suggestion that has been given to you a million times before as well and you’ve always thought that. “Oh Come on! It isn’t possible”.

Yeah, that “start something of your own” thing again. Nah! You need to think about it seriously this time.

Guess what? The only way to turn your life around, live a better and happier life, is to do something of your own.

You were talking with Ali about this thing a year ago but you forgot about that a couple of days later… What happened? Oh, so the job pressure increased. Hmm

Shut up! I can’t see you suffering like that my brother. You need to start something of your own. It could be anything. Maybe start a blog of your own, a YouTube channel maybe? Do whatever that you can do to change your life around.

  • Think of an idea.
  • Start working on it Part-time.
  • Keep grinding until you make it significantly big.
  • Quit your job.

4: Get rid of the toxic people.

So you really want to live a happier life? Are you looking for the powerful steps that you need to take to make your life better, happier, and more fulfilled? Then you need to let some people go off of your life.

I am talking about:

  • Bilal, who thinks that you can’t do anything big.
  • Sam, who believes that you have no talent.
  • Ali, Ahmed, and Hamza, who are too busy spending their life on useless things. They stop you from making progress, dragging you in their useless routine too.
  • Joshua is always bringing you down in front of the public.

All of these people are sucking away your confidence, leaving you with nothing but demotivation. Let me tell you something, the reason why you can’t think of becoming a successful person is due to these people. They have lowered down your level of thinking, dragged you down to the level of muds.

I can’t see this happening to you, anymore. Guys! You need to let these people go and attract those who are determined, motivated, supportive, and highly ambitious. Because at the end of the day, these are the people who are going to help you in your goal to make yourself more confident and make your life happier, better, and more fulfilled!

5: But what’s making you sad?

So, you are sad. Hah? But why?

Guys! You want a happy, more confident life. Right? But what’s wrong with your life? Like, How can you fix things without knowing the problem.

So tell me about your problem.

Are you insecure about your weight?
Do your communication skills suck?
Is money your problem?

What is it that turns you off? Look, the first step is to identify the problem. Right? I mean, how can we even work on something without even identifying that something? It makes no sense to me at least.

To take care of your weight, you have to join the gym and start taking note of your diet (more on that later)

To improve your communication skills, you will have to go out of your comfort zone. Start Listening, observing, and then finally go talk to strangers and trying holding a conversation. Yes, there will be the awkward phases but always remember that every successful you vs awkward conversation = You getting improved!

And we’ve already talked about the money part in point number #3.

6: Get rid of your addictions

Addiction in itself is a very bad thing. It is ugly to the limits. I agree that smoking, drugs, and porn, are all very negative practices but at the end of the day, getting addicted to any of these is no doubt the worst part of this whole equation.

Getting addicted to something and then not being able to get rid of it is a very sad thing to feel. You want this thing to go but you just can’t remove it from your life.

These addictions are making you mentally weak and this needs to be taken care of ASAP. But how?

You can take external help. YES! Go for it. Don’t think about what others will think about it. They don’t need to know about it anyways. Make every effort that you can make to get yourself back to a healthy life. A Life that you are controlling, unlike your life before.

7: Make a proper plan.

Are you sick and tired of doing things and then ending up failing in all of those things? Well, I might know the reason behind that.


The mistake that you do can be divided into two parts, or let’s say these are the 2 main mistakes you make that lead you to repetitive failure.

  • You are too energetic and want to get things faster!
  • You’ve done enough research, haven’t sketched things down. Proper execution is required and that can only be done when you’ve everything written down. You can’t beat systematic assessment.

Ahh.. Look at yourself. You either are super excited and because of that, you end up failing. Because obviously, you end up making tons of mistakes of this excitement of yours. Failure in the end!

Ok, let’s say you were not in a hurry. Then what was the problem? Got it! The problem was in the planning process.

Hey! I know that they have been telling you not to plan as it leads to overthinking… I agree with them to a certain limit but at the end of the day how can you even think about succeeding if you are going out there with no plans in your pocket?

And not just any plan… I am talking about the systematically made plans. One that you make after proper assessment, analyses, and research. Trust me on this, once you’ve done this homework properly, your chances of failure drop down to a 0.1%.

8: Arrange your room & wardrobe properly.

Ok, so we are talking about living a happy and better life. Hah? Did somebody say, “Confident Life” as well?

Let me tell you something…. It all starts from your bedroom. Yeah!

Having an organized sleeping space where there is no clutter, allows you to wake up super fresh. This super fresh morning with a happy mood then leads to a better, happier, and a confident day ahead.

And same goes for your wardrobe as well. Just look at it for a second. It is super messed up. I can see the items that you’ve never worn in the years but they are still in there. But why?

These items need to go. And once the unwanted items are removed, make sure that you’ve arranged the wardrobe properly. One extra step that is going to make your life much better/easier is to plan your outfit the night before.

By doing that you are decreasing your chances of looking “not-so-handsome”. That means, you are indirectly doing something that is going to make your mood better, get you more compliments and at the end of the day, help you stay motivated, happy, and confident as well. Hmm. I think that’s exactly what today’s topic is all about. Isn’t it?

9: Learn to do things that make you independent.

Gentlemen! You need to learn things that make you an independent person. I am talking about your everyday essentials.

  • Cooking.
  • Making up the Room.
  • Cleaning.
  • Arranging things.
  • Managing your clothes (Ironing, laundry, etc).

A man should know how to do all of these things. And please add, “Basic Car fixation” to the list as well. After all, you don’t want to spend hours on the road where you are unable to find somebody to fix your flat tire. Right?

Guys! I believe that every man needs to know how to do the things that can possibly make him dependent on someone else. Why? Because you never know when you are left alone due to some reason. The show must go on!

10: Spend less time on your phone.

I know that you are a social media manager who has to look at his phone all the time. But why?

I mean, why can’t you assign some specific hours to your work and not look at your phone all the time?

Guys! The reason why you are living a less-confident, sad, and very tasteless life is because of the fact that you are not present in the situation.

How many times do I have to tell you that in order to live a moment you have to be there, both physically and mentally as well!

But you are always on your phone, in front of your friends, while you are on a trip, etc. You haven’t been able to enjoy the moment fully because you are too busy spending all your time on this smartphone device of yours only.

Do something about it and you are going to see an immediate increase in your happiness, confidence, and communication skills as well.

11: Go to the bed early.

Happiness consists of many things. Following are the things that make you happier

  • Looking Good.
  • Being Fresh.
  • Having a better appearance.

But sleeping late at night is something that is destroying your happiness. Guys! You need to sleep 8 hours every night if you really want to boost your physical appearance. You for sure want radiant skin and fewer wrinkles on your face. Don’t you?

Well, then you need to start sleeping early. Keep that phone or whatever you do late at night, aside and go to the bed early.

But wait. We aren’t talking about just any kind of sleep. You need to work on your sleep quality as well if you really want to take your physical appearance, freshness, and happiness levels to a whole another dimension.

Following are some tips to sleep like a Baby (Quality Sleep Guaranteed):

  • Don’t Consume Caffeine Late in the day because the caffeine helps you wake up which means that it won’t let you sleep properly at Night. Hence, avoid caffeine in the evening or at night time.
  • Increase Bright Light Exposure during the Day and Reduce the Blue Light exposure in the evening / Night. Put your phone aside and don’t use it when the Lights of your room are switched off. Using a phone in the dark is gonna hurt your eyesight plus it is eating your Sleep time as well. 
  • You must put all of your Digital devices away at least 30 minutes before going to bed… I recommend that you put your Phone on a Table far away from your bed because I know that sometimes you want to grab your Cellphone again and again… But if you place it far away, you will have to get up and reach the table to grab your cellphone… Getting up is a resistance and a Barrier that is surely gonna Help.
  • Maintain Room Temperature at 60 – 67 Degree Fahrenheit because that’s considered to be the ideal temperature. Lowering your body’s temperate before going to bed is proven to give you a Baby sleep.
  • Make a Routine. Sleep at 10, Wake-up at 5 (etc)
  • Check your Mattress. Make sure that your Pillows, Bed, and Mattress are Comfortable

12: Set realistic goals.

The Number #1 reason you are always sad and disappointed is because you are always failing.

But have you ever thought about this? Like, why are you failing all the time? You can’t be this much dumb. Right?

Exactly! The reason isn’t YOU but… I mean you are definitely the reason behind this continuous failure of yours but it isn’t due to your lack of capabilities but because of your false expectations and super huge goals.

So, you’ve divided the work into 4 portions. But the portions that you’ve made must be divided into 8 portions each. But you expected way too much from yourself. Not that you were not able to meet those expectations but the goals were the real problem.

Guys! You need to expect what can be done realistically. Otherwise, you are going to continuously demotivate your inner self by failing over and over again.

13: Every suggestion is not “Note-worthy”.

You were doing pretty good before, why did you change your action plan? Oh! Because of Uncle Ali. Alright.

Nah! It isn’t alright. Let me tell you something very clear. You don’t have to take note of every suggestion or recommendation that you receive.

There are haters out there trying to bring you down, toxic people who don’t think you are going to make it big, and then come to the stupid people who suggest you things without having a clear idea about that particular thing.

Avoid all of these people and just keep going with a flow. All you need to make sure is that you’ve done your initial research the right way.

If you’ve done your research, made the right plan, broken things down into the right amount of proportions, and most importantly if you are consistent enough, then you are surely going to make it bigger than all of these men that I’ve talked about in the above paragraph.

14: Step up your hobby game.

Do you feel like your life is super boring? No excitement at all? Well, then you need to add this very special thing into your life, called, “Hobby”.

Guys! You need to grab a hobby and install it into your software and then see how things start in the positive direction!

And even if you do not get viral, still I believe that you are going to inspire a lot of people and with a big audience, you will make big bucks as well. So it’s no doubt a win-win situation!

15: Learn to negotiate.

In any disagreement, individuals understandably aim to achieve the best possible outcome for their position (or perhaps an organization they represent). However, the principles of fairness, seeking mutual benefit, and maintaining a relationship are the keys to a successful outcome.

So basically negotiation is an act of attracting things a little bit (or too much) towards your side of the spectrum, sort of making someone agree with either your point of view or somehow making him tilt towards your perspective.


This is a skill that makes your life better, much happier, and fulfilled as well. By learning this skill you will be able to get rid of a lot of upcoming disappointments because at the end of the day, you are going to get things resolved in somehow your favor which equals more happiness both short-term and long-term as well!

Hey! Don’t look at me like that. Do you want better skin? It for sure will make you a lot happier seeing yourself in the mirror with crystal clear skin. Right? You need to eat appropriate food for that. About healthy hair… What to do to get them? Eat fresh fruits and vegetables.

Gentlemen! An unhealthy diet is a disaster that is going to make your life miserable. You are going to get addicted to that and then finally you are going to see yourself becoming obese, ugly, and unwanted (I am sorry but it is what it is :)).

I would recommend you to start doing these 2 things starting from today:

  • Eat healthy food.
  • Eat smaller proportions.

Larger proportions increase the risk of many critical diseases and it is surely not good for your overall body health as well. And we already know the importance of eating healthy and ignoring sugary and oily foods. Right? Add the punch of 6 liters of H2O every single day and you, my friend, are going to become an ICON in a very small time.

17: Invest in yourself – physically

Last but not least probably one of the most important things that you can do for yourself, to see yourself becoming happier, more confident, is to invest in yourself!

Guys! I want you to save up. Save up some cash for yourself. This cash will be strictly used to get you some new clothes, a better skincare system, better haircare products, and a gym membership.

You deserve all of this my friend. You’ve been working super hard lately and your face says the whole story. We are going to change the phrases of this story once and for all, Investing in your looks is what I am talking about gentlemen!
